Heller Ehrman Ranks Among the Leaders in Chambers USA

06.13.2008
Firm receives 41 Individual and 23 Practice Area Mentions in 2008 Edition

(SAN FRANCISCO) June 13, 2008 – Heller Ehrman LLP announced that the firm received 41 individual recognitions and 23 practice recognitions in this year’s edition of Chambers USA -- America’s Leading Lawyers for Business.

"We are proud of our shareholders who achieved these rankings, but I have spoken with all of them, and each of them wants me to emphasize that we view our work as the work of our law firm, and that the success of any individual partner requires excellent work by all the lawyers who work with him or her,” said Heller Ehrman Chairman Matthew Larrabee.  “The fact that so many of our lawyers achieved these rankings speaks well not just of them but of all the lawyers who have supported them and made their individual recognition possible."

Chambers lists the top lawyers in 175 countries based on extensive research of the legal profession’s main practice groups and on client interviews. Clients are asked what firms they use and how they would evaluate lawyers based on legal ability and client service. With the client feedback, Chambers compiles an independent list of the top lawyers and practice groups.
